About Us: The people of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) are united by a singular mission: ending cancer for life. Our specialized care teams provide personalized, compassionate, expert care to patients of all ages. Informed by basic research done at our Sloan Kettering Institute, scientists across MSK collaborate to conduct innovative translational and clinical research that is driving a revolution in our understanding of cancer as a disease and improving the ability to prevent, diagnose, and treat it. MSK is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists and clinicians, who go on to pursue our mission at MSK and around the globe. Due to an increased volume of applications, we are now accepting candidates for our waitlist. You will be notified of your application status once it has been reviewed by our team. Thank you for your patience during this process. Before submitting an application to volunteer at MSK, we encourage you to watch our Pre-Orientation video here for essential program information. Be sure to review the assignment description and hours carefully. Volunteers with the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Program will assist with day-to-day operations of The Lounge, a dedicated physical space for young adults at MSK ages 15-39. Volunteers will also promote programming to MSK inpatients in this age range.
