About The Position

Sierra Vista Hospital is part of the UHS Family of Providers which has been highly regarded as an integral part of the greater Sacramento and Northern California mental health system since 1986. We have offered our clinical expertise to those suffering from behavioral health disorders or dual diagnosis. Our private 171-bed facility is home to a clinical team of licensed professionals committed to providing the highest quality care. We also provide inpatient alcohol detox and outpatient chemical dependency services. While most of our patients are from the Sacramento metro area, we also provide behavioral health, chemical dependency and dual diagnosis services to individuals and their families throughout northern and central California. The Adolescent Dept Assistant (Outpatient) is responsible for overall clerical and administrative support duties for the Outpatient Program. This position welcomes patients and visitors in person, virtual, and over the telephone. This position is also responsible for implementing & maintaining effective paper flow, documentation, and record keeping systems. You’d rather respond to challenging behavior by working with our patients to solve the problem than administering a disciplinary consequence. Requirements

  • High School diploma, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year administrative experience in a health care facility preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have knowledge of medical terminology and must be able to type 60 wpm.
  • Must be able to use Word and Excel computer software.
  • Must have current CPR.
