About The Position
Since 1985, The Brook Hospitals have been providing quality mental health and addiction treatment services. The Brook Hospitals have two outstanding facilities located in Louisville, Kentucky. The Brook – KMI is a 110-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children, adolescents, and adults. The Brook Hospitals prides itself upon the fact that our patients are referred directly to us by local professionals and organizations: physicians, psychologists, social workers, employee assistance professionals, community mental health centers, hospitals, schools, courts, social service agencies and managed care organizations. These direct referrals and our high patient and family satisfaction rates are a reflection of our effectiveness in treating mental illness and addictions. The Adolescent Behavioral Health Technician serves as an active member of the clinical staff; maintains a therapeutic relationship with all patients; assists in maintenance of a safe, clean, therapeutic environment; assures patient participation in program activities; and performs technical/patient care duties relative to patient’s health and safety.
Requirements
- High School Dipolma or GED.
- CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Handle with Care - Safe Physical Managemet Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- 0 - 1 years of related experience.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
- 1 - 3 years of related experience.
Responsibilities
