About The Position

Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in manufacturing construction chemicals and building materials — including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. We are currently seeking a Production Operator IV – Admixtures to join our operations team at a local admixture manufacturing facility. This is a senior-level, hands-on production role where the primary focus is actively manufacturing product, while also supporting equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, and basic mechanical preventative maintenance. This position is well-suited for an experienced mechanical production operator who is comfortable performing advanced production duties in a complex manufacturing environment. Primary Production Responsibilities Perform advanced hands-on production activities including pre-weighing, batch making, blending, and material transfers Follow production schedules and work instructions to ensure accurate batching and consistent product quality Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment to maintain proper mixing, flow, and batch integrity Prepare, label, and deliver quality control samples in accordance with SOPs Accurately complete production, batch, and quality records Palletize, stage, and prepare finished goods for shipping Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety and quality standards Equipment Monitoring & Maintenance Support Inspect equipment before, during, and after operation to identify potential issues Perform basic mechanical preventative maintenance tasks (e.g., lubrication, adjustments, minor part replacements) Assist with troubleshooting production equipment issues and support maintenance personnel as needed Report equipment, quality, or safety concerns promptly to supervision Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability efforts within the plant Adhere to all MAPEI policies, safety rules, and work procedures Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Hands-on work willingness and mechanical inclination.
  • Minimum of 3 or more years manufacturing/process experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Flexibility for overtime and shift hours required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with light equipment maintenance and troubleshooting equipment, strongly preferred.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities
