About The Position

Admitting Rep/PBX Operator Hybrid position for the Emergency Department at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. The Registrar is responsible for securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring this is documented timely and accurately. The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes the Providence mission, values, and philosophy. In all aspects, the incumbent serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
• National Certification of CHAA upon hire.
• 3 years experience in Patient Access or Business office setting.
• 3 years utilization of medical terminology in job setting.
• 1 year knowledge of Epic applications.
