About The Position

The Admitting Representative coordinates or manages admissions for patients. This role involves registering incoming patients, entering information on admitting forms, explaining regulations, and scheduling patients. The representative communicates with patients, participants, and staff to accurately schedule patients for prescribed procedures in a Diagnostic setting. Responsibilities include performing clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration, scheduling patient procedures efficiently, assisting with insurance pre-certification/authorization, and providing counseling to patients regarding pre-service requirements and instructions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of prior relevant experience in a healthcare or customer service setting.

  • Indexing experience.

Responsibilities
