About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is currently seeking a part time Admitting Clerk. The Admitting Clerk, under the supervision of the Manager of Admissions or designee, performs duties of admitting patients into the Medical Center as emergency, outpatient, or inpatient status. Duties include checking daily census, bed data, pre-registration, pre-certification and performing other duties as required or assigned

Requirements

• Ability to use computer and type
• pleasant personality for meeting the public
• able to meet all situations with tact and poise
• High school graduate or equivalent

• Some experience in an office or hospital
