About The Position

Are you an excellent communicator with great customer service and attention-to-detail skills? Do you have a passion for working with patients and ensuring customers have a positive experience? If you are a team player with prior experience as a receptionist and are tech-savvy, we'd love for you to apply for the Admitting Clerk position in the General Surgery clinic.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year experience as a receptionist, in a clinic setting is preferred
  • Bi-lingual preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors
  • Contribute to daily clinic operations - process mail, answer phones, take messages, schedule and confirm appointments, etc.
  • Register patients for visits and confirm information using SLVH's Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Maintain physician schedules
  • Collect co-payments for visits and refer patients to Billing as necessary
