WHO WE ARE: The Elmhurst Park District, established in 1920 and located 16 miles west of Chicago, provides parks, recreation facilities and programs to meet our mission of enriching lives while having fun. We are now hiring ADMISSIONS STAFF for our Outdoor Pools during the Summer 2026 season. WHAT YOU’LL DO: To assist in the efficient and productive operation of the outdoor pools including managing a all Point of Sale operations and checking patrons in. Admit patrons into the pool by charging daily admission fee, scanning membership cards, or processing punch cards. Assist public with questions about facility hours, fees, programs, events, rules, and the Park District. Follow all proper cash handling protocols. Complete necessary forms for errors in sales and closing shifts. Attend and participate in staff meetings. Complete mandatory trainings

Requirements

Some high school education.
CPR and AED certification, or ability to obtain within first 3 months of employment.
Good internal and external customer service skills.
Must be at least 16 years of age by May 15, 2026.
