About The Position

The Admissions Specialist position at Texas Health involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, primarily supporting the Emergency Department and other departments such as the Women's Diagnostic Center, Outpatient Imaging, and Physical Therapy. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, with a primary commitment to work every Friday from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm and additional variable hours during weekdays. The position is PRN (as needed), which may involve working up to 40 hours a week, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Training for this role includes a week of system training and at least two weeks of classroom training, along with additional shadowing and job autonomy training.

Requirements
