About The Position

Intermountain Hospital is looking for a dynamic Admissions RN to assess potential patients for admission! The Admissions Department screens and assesses patients in settings ranging from: triaging patients from hospitals, performing scheduled assessments, and crisis management of walk-in patients with acute mental health and/or substance use disorder. Admissions works closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, clinicians, and nursing staff to access the appropriate level of care required to stabilize the patient's emotional health. Shift: Full-time day/evening shift 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday rotating Intermountain Hospital, located in Boise, has been providing quality psychiatric and chemical dependency services to Idaho's Treasure Valley and the western US since 1980. This 151-bed facility is located on 10 beautiful acres near the foothills of Idaho's dramatic Sawtooth Mountains. Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Idaho.
  • Must be trained in Crisis Prevention Instruction (we provide) and CPR.
  • Currently licensed to practice by the State of Idaho.
