About The Position

The Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for our Admissions Department to join our team:
Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital, located near beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC, treats adolescents, adults and senior adults in need of psychiatric services, as well as adults who suffer from a chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, or are in need of rehabilitation. Lighthouse offers 24-hour admissions, needs assessment, and referral services.

Requirements

• Current license to practice nursing in State of South Carolina (or eligible to receive or renew-Compact)
• Current CPR or BLS certification

Nice To Haves

• Preferred 1-3 year of experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting
• CPI Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform assesments and contraband searches before patient is transfered to their designated unit.
• Communiacate Nursing hand off information to the Nursing department.
• Assists suring down time with making referrals to in house physicians to assess qualification for admission.
• Provide as a resource to handle overflow intake referrals to ensure loss of referals is minimilized.
• Monitor Intake flow via Dahsboard
