About The Position

River Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Admissions Nurse (RN/LPN) for a full-time position. This role supports the intake and admission process, promoting patient care in alignment with the hospital's philosophy and objectives. The Admissions Nurse will perform duties according to the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, ensuring quality treatment for individuals suffering from mental illness and addictive disorders.

Requirements

• Current license to practice nursing in Louisiana (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Computer proficiency with previous heavy data entry experience.
• Experience in an inpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the intake and admission process for patients.
• Promote patient care consistent with the hospital's philosophy and objectives.
• Perform nursing duties in accordance with ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care.
