About the role: Admissions & Retention Specialist Create awareness of Arc Broward's Workforce Services programs, including Arc Educates and Arc Works, to external community stakeholders. Manage recruitment activities for potential students/participants by identifying and attending community outreach events and school resource fairs, as well as by facilitating presentations, cold-calling, and utilizing social media to share information and engage with prospective students/participants and their families. Collaborate with external entities such as schools, non-profits, Vocational Rehabilitation, social service agencies, advocacy groups, parent groups, and others to provide information about Arc Broward’s Workforce Services programs. Serve as the key ambassador to obtain referrals for Workforce Services’ post-secondary vocational certificate programs and employment services programs to meet and exceed established enrollment quota. Engage young adults aging out of high school, and older, to help guide them towards their employment goals. Lead tours of the Hospitality program at Chateau Mar for prospective students and their families, facilitate intake meetings, and guide applicants through the application and admission progress for the program. Conduct direct outreach (emails, phone calls, follow-ups) to prospective students/participants and follow-up with pipeline for upcoming program starts. Oversee student recruitment funnel by working with individuals with disabilities from initial campus tours, intake meetings, and application process; and enrolled students by providing student/participant support services throughout the individual’s involvement with Workforce Services to enhance program retention and completion. Generate weekly and monthly activity reports focused on outreach efforts and progress toward recruitment and enrollment benchmarks.
