This role involves verifying insurance and other payer benefits, performing upfront collections, and determining patient eligibility for admission to the hospital in accordance with policies and procedures. The representative is also responsible for obtaining signatures for payment, explaining financial obligations, answering and directing telephone calls, and assisting with office supply orders and correspondence as requested.
