The Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) position is full-time, with shifts from 7a-7p (Monday/Thursday/Friday) or 7p-7a rotating weekends or 11p-7:30a (M-F), and includes a $10K sign-on bonus. All new hires MUST attend a full, 2-week orientation from 8-4:30pm. Granite Hills Hospital offers high-quality, patient-centered care for the greater Milwaukee community, with a wide range of treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Our mission is to provide much-needed outcome-focused care for those who need it most. Our new 120-bed facility will feature evidence-based treatment modalities and a multi-disciplinary team led by expert medical professionals.

Requirements

• Current license to practice nursing in Wisconsin (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
• Admissions experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to patients managing mental health challenges.
• Assist in the admissions process for patients in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members.
