About The Position

The Admissions Recruiter is responsible for identifying, engaging, and enrolling qualified students into Edward Waters University's academic programs. This position plays a vital role in advancing the university's mission through dynamic outreach, relationship building, and effective representation at recruitment events both on and off campus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort with CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to travel regionally and overnight for recruitment purposes.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in college admissions, student recruitment, or sales.
  • Demonstrated success working with diverse student populations.
  • Familiarity with Ellucian Colleague, Salesforce, or similar CRM tools.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a personalized recruitment plan to support university enrollment goals.
  • Represent Edward Waters University at high schools, community colleges, college fairs, and community organizations throughout assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guidance counselors, community leaders, parents, and prospective students.
  • Manage prospective student data and communications through the university's CRM (Salesforce) and student information system (Ellucian Colleague).
  • Assist in planning and hosting on-campus and virtual recruitment events.
  • Support communication and outreach initiatives designed to engage prospective students and promote the university.
  • Deliver engaging presentations that effectively communicate the university's academic offerings, student life, and value proposition.
  • Track and report on recruitment progress, territory performance, and event outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall enrollment initiatives.
