The Admissions and Records Assistant is responsible for assisting and maintaining various aspects of graduate admissions operations functions, including, but not limited to: processing paper and online applications and all related functions; acting as lead contact for questions pertaining to the application process, workflows, and verification of application documents and completeness of applications; responsible for creating, updating and maintaining application checklists and materials for applications processed; receiving, processing and responding to application deferral requests (electronic, emailed, paper); reviewing, researching and responding to in-progress applicants regarding missing documents; assisting with processing admission documents, such as transcripts, test scores, recommendations, etc., including imaging documents and logging documents into Slate, Banner and miscellaneous databases; corresponding with applicants regarding admissions application and supporting documents; assisting with general file creation and maintenance.
