About The Position
The Admissions Officer II position at the Heavener School of Business, University of Florida, plays a vital role in the recruitment and admission of transfer students into the school's residential campus programs. The school emphasizes four key pillars: Academics, Career Development, International Studies, and Leadership, offering bachelor's degree programs in various fields including Finance, Management, and Marketing. In this role, the Admissions Officer will coordinate the admission process for transfer students, ensuring compliance with university policies and regulations. This includes operating a student admissions system, explaining application requirements to potential students, and selecting candidates based on their qualifications. The officer will also be responsible for processing transfer admission applications, responding to inquiries, and maintaining the admissions database, which includes generating periodic statistical reports. The position requires collaboration with various teams, including the UF Transfer Admissions and Transcript Evaluation teams, to ensure a seamless admissions process. The Admissions Officer will also assist in the development of promotional materials and maintain the Heavener School of Business website with up-to-date admissions information. Additionally, the officer will represent the school at community colleges for recruitment programs and may present information on transfer admissions at staff meetings. This role is crucial in enhancing the academic and professional journeys of prospective students, contributing to the vibrant and innovative environment of the Heavener School of Business.
