About The Position

The University of Florida is looking for an Admissions Officer II, UF Online Recruitment & Outreach to support prospective students through proactive outreach, recruitment engagement, and high‑level customer service. In this role, you will guide students through the enrollment process, represent UF at recruitment events, and serve as a key resource for applicants and campus partners.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive outreach to prospective students through phone, email, SMS, and other communication channels.
  • Manage a robust prospect pipeline to support enrollment goals.
  • Meet or exceed weekly outreach and production metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with university-wide policies, legislative statues, and state regulations related to enrollment.
  • Log and track all student interactions in the CRM system.
  • Travel to and actively participate in recruitment events, including transfer and college fairs.
  • Travel is typically during the day but is occasionally overnight. This involves the operation of a state vehicle.
  • Deliver in-person or virtual informational presentations and engage with prospective students, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary contact for high‑profile prospective students and strategic partnerships.
  • Support recruitment efforts for special populations and targeted outreach groups.
  • Address escalated or complex situations referred by staff, advisors, or student services partners.
  • Develop training materials and provide ongoing training to Admissions Officer I staff.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
