The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 11am - 7pm with call. We specialize in providing Home Health and Hospice in the home and facilities. Job Summary: Primary functions are to perform admissions and administer nursing care for patients of all ages in their place of residence, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary group, patient/family and referring agency; and assume the responsibility for coordination of care.QualificationsJob Qualifications:
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
- Current State license as a Registered Nurse
- current Drivers License
- Two years experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical care setting and 1 yr full time hospice.
- Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
- Knowledge of State and Federal Regulations.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid and current auto liability insurance.
- Proof of current CPR.
- Ability to work flexible schedule
- ability to travel locally
- some exposure to unpleasant weather
- PRN emergency call
