The Admissions Registered Nurse is responsible for making the initial visit with patients and families to explain and initiate services. This role focuses on completing a comprehensive assessment of the patient, environment, and support system and admitting to the appropriate program. The Admissions Nurse develops an initial plan of treatment, completes necessary documentation, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to meet the immediate needs of patients and families. The role is primarily centered within the Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay territories, but may travel anywhere within our service area for admissions. Schedule: This position is scheduled for 36 hours per week, working 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. The role includes every 4th weekend rotation, approximately 10–12 call-back shifts per year, and 1–2 holidays annually.
