About The Position

The Admissions Marketing & Events Intern will coordinate and manage daily visit experiences, communication strategies, and summer recruitment events. This role plays a key part in delivering a high-quality, hospitable experience for prospective students and families while supporting data-informed decision-making and strategic communication efforts across the admissions funnel.

Requirements

  • Must be a full-time, day school student enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester.
  • Strong knowledge of Drury University’s history, academic offerings, student organizations, and campus resources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A welcoming and positive attitude, with a natural ability to make people feel at home.
  • Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Must be a regular, full-time student, enrolled in at least 12 hours per semester
  • Must have a completed FAFSA on file with Financial Aid for the current academic year
  • Must be responsible, dependable, and must have a professional appearance

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage daily campus visits, including scheduling, logistics, and execution
  • Communicate with faculty, coaches, and staff to align and coordinate visit components
  • Manage pre- and post-visit communication with prospective students and families
  • Ensure a seamless, personalized, and welcoming visit experience aligned with recruitment goals
  • Assist in planning and managing logistics for two summer Sneak Peek events
  • Coordinate event materials, registration processes, and on-site execution
  • Serve as on-site support to ensure smooth operations and a high-quality guest experience
  • Contribute to engagement strategies that enhance yield and prospective student interest
  • Support and help execute integrated marketing campaigns targeting prospective students
  • Assist in drafting and deploying mass communication emails and text campaigns
  • Manage and track CRM (Slate) data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across communication flows
  • Utilize CRM data to analyze trends, compare engagement metrics, and inform outreach strategies
  • Support segmentation and personalization efforts within communication plans
  • Help maintain organized, timely, and strategic communication workflows
  • Provide occasional campus tours to prospective students and families
  • Deliver a compelling, brand-aligned campus narrative that supports recruitment messaging
  • Represent the university in a professional, enthusiastic, and hospitable manner
  • Assist with administrative and operational tasks that support admissions initiatives
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and “other duties as assigned”
