Arbors at Milford is seeking an Admissions Liaison to manage the facility inquiry and admission process while providing customers with comprehensive information about the facility. This role is crucial in coordinating Resident Admissions for both short-term and long-term care needs, working closely with the management team to ensure a seamless admission experience. The Admissions Liaison will be responsible for bridging communication between physician offices, management teams, residents, and their families, ensuring ongoing patient satisfaction throughout the process. The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of various types of insurance, medical terminology, and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, is essential for creating presentations and facilitating effective communication. The Admissions Liaison will conduct facility tours, manage the admission process, and maintain updated information regarding bed availability and facility services. In addition to managing inquiries from hospital discharge planners and other referral sources, the Admissions Liaison will develop and implement customer relationship programs, ensuring that all referral sources are informed about bed availability and new services. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including residents, families, and community contacts. The Admissions Liaison will also be involved in community education initiatives, establishing the facility as a leader in skilled nursing and rehabilitation care.
