About The Position

As an Admissions Intake Coordinator at the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living, you’ll be primarily responsible for preparing and completing admissions paperwork for all admissions. This position is on-site. You will create admissions paperwork for all incoming admissions, including relevant payer information and general information about the Home. Additionally, you will create name tags and information sheets for incoming admissions, which include Care Team contact information and Care Conference schedules. You will also run necessary screenings for potential admissions and complete admissions paperwork, uploading appropriate documents to the EMR. Finally, you will prepare and pass the Admissions Memo to respective nursing units.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; AA/AS/BA/BS preferred.
  • Skilled nursing billing and insurance experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced setting with ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with referral sources, applicants, and families.
  • Must handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
