About The Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us in combining sales with the art of beauty, hairdressing, well-being, and environmental care. We are seeking someone who shares our passion for creating connections with prospective students, can work towards and achieve sales goals, and can demonstrate their commitment to the Aveda mission and values. Job Description – As a Call Center Admissions Representative, you will be expected to effectively contact, screen, and set appointments for prospective students. Call Center Admissions Representatives are the first person that a potential student connects with in our admissions process, so a positive upbeat personality is definitely a plus! Most of your day will be spent making outbound calls, sending emails/ texts and covering inbound phone calls. You will be expected to project a positive image and convey support for our prospects on every call. A genuine desire to connect with people over the phone is a must. You will be expected to process a high volume of outbound/inbound calls and make accurate data entries into our CRM each day. You will work in an office environment and will always be expected to demonstrate professionalism and integrity. This is a hybrid role with 20% working from home after 90 days of work.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, listening and interviewing skills
  • The desire and ability to connect with others and build rapport quickly on the phone
  • Experience with sales positions that held you accountable for meeting metrics and goals
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism and integrity with every interaction
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Ability to work for 8 hours a day at a desk working with a computer, phone and dual screens
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A commitment to the environment and a strong alignment to the Aveda Mission is essential
  • Desire to work in the beauty industry
  • Employer participates in E-Verify Program
  • Minimum 18 months successful experience in sales or recruitment role

Nice To Haves

  • Bi- Lingual is a plus (Spanish)
  • Prior sales experience in Admissions, or the Beauty industry preferred
