About The Position
The Admissions Evaluator (AE) plays a vital role in the admissions process by accurately and efficiently evaluating undergraduate applicants for all University of Arizona campuses and programs. This position involves making informed admissions decisions based on the evaluation and review of applications, ensuring compliance with Arizona Board of Regents and UA admission standards. AEs exercise critical thinking and professional judgment to determine applicant eligibility. Aligned with the mission of the Undergraduate Admissions Processing Unit-to receive, process, evaluate, and decision applications as efficiently and accurately as possible in the best interest of potential UA students and the university-AEs collaborate within the Admissions Processing Unit to provide exceptional service and support UA's objectives. Specializing in specific student populations or projects, AEs demonstrate self-motivation and take on a high level of responsibility in their work. This role is eligible for Flexible Work Arrangements, including primarily remote work within Arizona. Team members are expected to attend approximately eight in-person staff meetings and two to three additional in-person events each year. Otherwise, most team members have the privilege of working remotely to achieve their tasks and goals.
