About The Position
Admissions Director Grandview Rehab is seeking an experienced, motivated Director of Admissions to lead and manage the admissions process for our skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of resident intake, building strong referral relationships, and ensuring a smooth and efficient transition for new admissions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-service mindset, and a solid understanding of healthcare operations. Requirements
- Prior experience in admissions, healthcare marketing, or a related role in a skilled nursing facility
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance guidelines
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the admissions process from initial inquiry through resident admission
- Coordinate with hospitals, families, and referral sources to facilitate timely admissions
- Review clinical and financial information to determine admission eligibility
- Maintain and grow relationships with hospitals, case managers, and community partners
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with clinical, billing, and administrative teams for seamless transitions
- Track and report admissions data, trends, and occupancy goals
- Participate in marketing and census development initiatives
