About The Position
Rio Vista Behavioral Health is an 80-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in El Paso, Texas. We provide comprehensive care for adults aged 18 and older who are struggling with mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, psychosis, and the effects of trauma. Our hospital offers a comfortable therapeutic environment with attention to patient safety, featuring multiple outdoor courtyards with breathtaking views of the Franklin Mountains, a large gymnasium, and numerous activity areas. Our dedicated team of professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and therapists, is committed to delivering evidence-based treatment and compassionate care to help individuals achieve long-lasting recovery and improved mental health. The Admissions Counselor is responsible for managing the intake and admissions process for new patients. This role involves assessing patient needs, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring a smooth and efficient admission experience for patients and their families.
