About The Position

West Kentucky Community & Technical College is seeking a dedicated Admissions Counselor II to help students navigate their educational journey. Located in Paducah, KY, you'll be part of the Kentucky Community & Technical College System, serving our community with passion and purpose. As an Admissions Counselor II, you'll guide prospective students through the enrollment process, helping them discover programs that align with their career goals. You'll work with traditional and non-traditional students, providing personalized support and removing barriers to higher education access.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required
Experience in student services, admissions, or related field preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with student information systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
Driver's license

Responsibilities

Conduct individual and group advising sessions with prospective students
Coordinate recruitment activities at high schools and community events
Process applications and maintain accurate student records
