Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 57-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for our Stroke Specialty program. The Admission Coordinator screens admissions, collaborates with other departments and facilities, manages waitlist, fields questions and completes preadmission paperwork and requirements. The Admission Coordinator assists in the coordination all aspects of MDS and RAI processes by supporting the MDS Coordinator and Social Worker. Investigates, assesses, and initiates interventions to help Elder's cope with social, emotional, economic, and environmental challenges associated with living in a LTC facility.
