THE OPPORTUNITY Start date: April 1, 2026 The Admissions Coordinator supports both families seeking admission to Avenues and the growing team of dedicated colleagues who work closely with families from inquiry to enrollment, and then ultimately from enrollment to graduation. For families, the Coordinator makes certain we deliver the best possible student and family experience during the entire admissions process. For the team, the Coordinator ensures their time is focused on the most important priorities, that communication with families is seamless and professional, and that daily deliverables are proactively handled. The incumbent for this role will join a caring, cohesive, dedicated, fun, hard-working, and exceptionally talented team of admissions and marketing professionals. WHAT YOU'LL DO As Admissions Coordinator, you will: Enthusiastically manage the “front of house,” including welcoming families, receiving calls, and responding to emails in a gracious, timely, and professional manner Anticipate family and office needs Answer questions confidently, contextually, and accurately Enjoy making families feel comfortable and at home Handle the scheduling of student assessments and family conversations Support families and the team with the completion of application components Check in with families regarding missing items Reach out to schools on behalf of Avenues and families Help complete and proof applications for committee review Assist with event logistics, registration follow-ups, and day-of flow Anticipate office needs by regularly monitoring inventory and supplies, always making sure we are well-stocked Complete administrative tasks as assigned by team leaders
