• Serve as the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking substance use and mental health treatment • Handle inbound calls with empathy, professionalism, and a solution-oriented approach during times of crisis • Guide clients and families through the admissions process from first call to placement

Requirements

  • Sales-oriented professional with a passion for helping others
  • 1–2 years of admissions, sales, or call-center experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a high-stress environment
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
  • Empathy, integrity, dependability, and professionalism
  • Must have a strong written and oral communication ability
  • Must be able to display strong attention to detail to ensure that all necessary information is captured
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and perform several tasks simultaneously without losing concentration
  • Proper telephone etiquette
  • Empathy and compassion towards individuals struggling with substance use / alcohol use disorders
  • Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications: Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Outlook
  • 1-2 years of admissions and/or sales experience preferred
  • Proven sales background
  • Professionalism in all facets of communication
  • Ability to work in a high-stress environment
  • Call center experience or multi-line phone system experience
  • Dependability / Honesty / Integrity

Responsibilities

  • Qualify prospective clients and conduct pre-screen assessments
  • Explain treatment options, services, and levels of care clearly and compassionately
  • Review insurance benefits and discuss financial responsibility with clients and guarantors
  • Draft and finalize payment agreements and process payments
  • Maintain relationships with outside medical facilities to ensure smooth patient transfers
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Admissions to determine clinical appropriateness
  • Answering inbound phone calls from people who are seeking substance abuse/alcohol treatment for themselves or a loved one.
  • Must be able to speak to clients and/or families during times of crisis and offer a solution.
  • Financial Conversation – Establishing a relationship with client and client’s guarantor, must be able to discuss client financial responsibility, and all necessary information from guarantor to draft agreements, finalizing payment agreements, processing of payments.
  • Be efficient at explaining insurance benefits to a client and/or family and assist with their understanding of this information.
  • Admissions Duties – You must be passionate about healthcare as we are a client-centered company, and you must be willing to actively learn and understand substance abuse disorders and treatment options.
  • This role requires you to be able to explain the services offered by our facilities and be able to provide clients/family members with helpful resources.
  • Maintain good relationships with outside medical facilities to guarantee a smooth transfer of patients.
  • Complete pre-screen assessments and be efficient at relaying this information to the Director of Admissions to help determine a client’s appropriateness for our programs.
  • Perform various tasks as assigned.
