About The Position

The Admissions Coordinator at Cedarwood Plaza is responsible for managing the entire admissions process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for residents and their families. This role involves coordinating inquiries, conducting tours, completing required documentation, and collaborating with internal teams to facilitate seamless transitions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Experience in healthcare admissions, long-term care, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and regulatory compliance a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for prospective residents and families.
  • Schedule and conduct facility tours, highlighting Cedarwood Plaza’s services and amenities.
  • Manage all aspects of the admissions process, including insurance verification and pre-admission assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Work closely with nursing, social services, and administrative teams to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and community partners.
