This position is responsible for coordinating admissions, maintaining accurate records, and serving as a key liaison between residents, families, and internal departments. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Previous healthcare admissions or administrative experience preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
Interview residents and/or families to obtain required admission information and signatures
Prepare and maintain accurate admission and identification records
Track and maintain current bed availability and resident census
Provide admission packets and review resident rights and privacy information
Communicate effectively with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a smooth admission process
Maintain confidentiality of all resident and protected health information
Inventory resident valuables and ensure proper documentation
Build positive working relationships across departments
