About The Position

Join the Pomeroy Living Team! Pomeroy Living is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Admissions Coordinator to join our team. As the Admissions Coordinator, you will play a vital role in welcoming new residents to our community and contributing to the overall success of our skilled nursing facility.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • At least three (3) years experience in Health Care Sales/marketing/Insurance or commensurate education preferred.
  • Familiar with Medical Terminology.
  • Experience in customer service, sales, or marketing preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for working with seniors and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in managed care/insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct tours of the facility for prospective residents and their families.
  • Answer inquiries about the facility's services, amenities, and pricing.
  • Schedule and conduct resident assessments.
  • Coordinate the admissions process, including completing necessary paperwork and obtaining required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all inquiries.
