About The Position

The CDL Schools / Troops Into Transportation (TCDLS/T2T) program is seeking a dedicated individual to present the program to qualified prospective students through personal interviews and business-to-business contact. This role is crucial in supporting the admissions team and ensuring a smooth enrollment process for new students.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong proficiency with computer and web-based programs/software
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office and Web Based CRM
  • Strong customer service skills over the phone and in person

Responsibilities

  • Create new lead contacts from inbound calls or walk-in customers
  • Support admissions team to assist prospective customers in joining the CDL program
  • Greet all new/prospective students and guests
  • Perform application data entry and upload/scan submissions to the admissions panel
  • Submit loan documents to the Finance department for processing
  • Enter all in-person or over-the-phone appointment show and no-show data
  • Maintain the enrollment log, collect additional payments, and application fees
  • Support class coordinator by preparing training rosters, student schedules, and in-house appointments with representatives or other team members
  • Collect and maintain required student documents for building student files (both paper and electronic)
  • Provide administrative and appointment setting support to the admissions/recruiting team
  • Conduct outbound call confirmations, text messages, and other electronic communications to support positive show rates and the admissions/recruiting team
  • Attend and participate in meetings/conferences as scheduled within the district, state, and other states
  • Perform other duties as assigned
