About The Position
The Admissions Coordinator manages inpatient and outpatient admissions. Registers incoming patients, enters information on admitting forms, explains hospital regulations, and assigns patients to rooms based on the nature of the illness and the type of accommodations available. May prepare identification bracelets and assist in insurance matters. Serves as a liaison between patients, their families, visitors, and the hospital (administration, management, hospital staff, medical staff, etc.). UAB Hospital - Main ER and Gardendale ER, Multiple Shifts Available: Evening shifts: 2:30pm - 11:00pm, shift requires you work 1 shift every other weekend Night shifts: 11:00pm - 7:30am, shift requires you work 1 shift every other weekend **Please note: This schedule is subject to change based on hospital census and the needs of the business**
