Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is searching for a caring and compassionate bachelor’s prepared admission call specialist position in our 24/7 Admissions Department. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, human resources, or related human services field.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a human service, social service, psychiatric, or mental health setting.
• Experience performing administrative duties, crisis intervention, telephonic triage and inquiries, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating aspects of the admissions process.
• Efficiently and effectively handling inquiry calls.
• Processing referrals for possible admission.
• Knowledge of and communication with referral sources and customers who present for assessment.
• Insurance verification/precertification.
• Patient registration process.
• Taking vitals and patient observations.
• Scheduling of evaluations.
• Admissions processing.
• Bed board monitoring.
• Other non-clinical duties as assigned by admissions leadership team.
