About The Position

Peachford is currently searching for an experienced Call Specialist for our Intake Department. What Role Will You Play? The Call Specialist will assess the needs of callers and patient presenting for assessment and ensure their admission or referral to the service or resource to best address their needs. In Addition, Call Specialist ensure referral sources receive appropriate updates on their patients. Peachford Hospital: Bringing Life Into Balance. Requirements

  • To be successful in this position, you need at least one year of intake/assessment experience preferably in a crisis intervention environment.

Nice To Haves

  • A master’s degree in a counseling or related field as well as being license-eligible is Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to telephone inquiries seeking mental health care or information about mental health related services.
  • Respond to telephone/ fax inquires seeking facility transfers.
  • Obtain admission orders and assign admitting physician.
  • Assist with Clinical assessments.
  • Contact insurance companies / payor sources for authorization.
  • Obtain patient and other required signatures on applicable forms.
