About The Position

Pine Creek Care Center is looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Admissions Assistant to join our supportive and collaborative team. This part-time role is primarily weekends, with some weekday shifts as needed, and is perfect for someone who enjoys helping families navigate an important transition with care and professionalism. The Admissions Assistant plays a key role in creating a smooth, welcoming admissions experience for new residents and their families. Working closely with the Admissions Coordinator and interdisciplinary team, this position supports scheduling, documentation, and communication to ensure timely and compassionate admissions. PACS is revolutionizing the delivery and leadership of post-acute healthcare and support services across the country. Requirements

  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHR systems

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in healthcare, admissions, or long-term care preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance processes a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents, families, hospitals, and referral partners
  • Coordinate and schedule admissions, including pre-admission paperwork and assessments
  • Assist with insurance verification, authorizations, and financial eligibility processes
  • Prepare admission packets and maintain accurate, compliant records
  • Provide tours and information to prospective residents and families
  • Communicate with hospitals, physicians, and case managers to ensure smooth transitions
  • Collaborate with nursing, social services, and administrative teams
  • Support outreach and marketing efforts as needed
