Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and facilitating all aspects of the admissions process from inquiry to arrival, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a welcoming experience.
  • Providing backup admissions coverage and participating in the on-call admissions rotation to maintain smooth operations and timely responses.
  • Serving as a primary contact for hospitals, referral partners, and families-representing Buckeye's professionalism and compassion with every interaction.
  • Maintaining precise and compliant documentation of all admissions activities, including pre-admission screening, payer verification, and medical information.
  • Handling patient relations with tact and diplomacy, resolving concerns promptly and fostering trust among residents, families, and staff.
  • Demonstrating customer service expertise by anticipating needs and exceeding expectations in every encounter.
  • Engaging in dynamic problem solving to remove barriers, streamline processes, and ensure a seamless experience for incoming residents.
  • Collaborating closely with the nursing, therapy, and business office teams to align admission readiness and ensure smooth handoffs.
  • Communicate with insurance providers to verify coverage and secure necessary pre-authorizations in accordance with organizational and payer requirements.
