Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living setting, particularly in admissions, is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to efficiently manage administrative tasks and documentation.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Office and electronic health record systems.
  • A patient-centered mindset and a commitment to Kingston Healthcares values.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living setting, particularly in admissions, is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for prospective residents and their families, offering information, answering questions, and providing support throughout the admissions process.
  • Coordinate and conduct facility tours, creating a welcoming and informative experience.
  • Assist with admission paperwork, ensuring all forms and documentation are accurate and complete.
  • Collaborate with the admissions team, nursing staff, and other departments to facilitate a seamless transition for new residents.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date admission records, including resident information and insurance verification.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and external partners to provide guidance and reassurance.
