About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Admissions Assistant to join our dynamic admissions team. The Admissions Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the recruitment process of new students and ensuring a smooth transition into our institution. This position involves a blend of administrative tasks and customer service that are vital to creating a positive experience for prospective students and their families.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably in an educational setting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management

Responsibilities

  • Assist in processing admissions applications and documentation
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective students and families via phone, email, and in-person
  • Coordinate and support on-campus events such as open houses, information sessions, and tours
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of applicant information in the admissions database
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospective students throughout the admissions process
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop outreach materials and strategies to attract new students
