About The Position

The Admissions Assistant at Parker Health Group is responsible for supporting the Admissions Manager in coordinating the admissions process for long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation. This role involves maintaining accurate resident records and preparing necessary reports, contributing to the overall efficiency of the admissions process in a high-quality nursing care environment.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpretation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PCC, and Enquire systems preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the admission process in long-term care settings.
• Flu vaccine required or medical exemption prior to employment.
• Covid-19 vaccination documentation requested for reporting purposes.
