We are currently looking for a: Idlewild and SoakZone: Admissions and Guest Services Supervisor

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age on the date of applying
  • Must be able to speak and read the English language
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shift
  • Must work well with other team members and be able to interact with our guests in a fast paced environment
  • Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Idlewild and SoakZone guidelines
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to work at least two (2) weekends per month from June through August
  • Must be able to work at least three (3) days per week and at least 24 hours per week from June through August (Shifts are available starting in April and continue through October.)
  • Team Members are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme heat, humidity, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.
  • Physical requirements would include ability to stand and/or sit (for up to five hours at a time), walk long distances within the park, bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity; and the ability to carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance on a regular basis

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a smile and positive attitude!
  • Lead by example, attitude, and as a representation of Idlewild and Soak Zone’s core values
  • Encourage team members through positive affirmation and guide by corrective action with the Admissions and Guest Services Manager when guidelines are not being followed or have been compromised
  • Provide team members with trainings and support
  • Open and Close Guest Services and Admissions areas
  • Handle escalated guest concerns and criticisms
  • Deescalate guest concerns with a positive attitude
  • Cover day-off shifts for manager
  • Enforce park policies for guests and team members
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Troubleshoot issues with technology, ticketing software, and Point of Sale as they arise
  • Coordinate team breaks and ensure team members are accurately clocking in/out
  • Support our park through other duties as assigned by your manager
