About the position

This position is a Work Study role within the Admissions Department, starting on July 1, 2024, and ending on June 30, 2025. The role involves assisting the Office of Admissions with various tasks, including assembling information packets, preparing admissions materials, and managing inventory. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, which will be shared between two students. There may be occasions where the students will need to cover events that could occur on weekends or in the evenings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Office of Admissions with assembling information packets and preparing admissions materials and mailings.
  • Assist at the welcome desk.
  • Assist with inventory management of admissions collateral materials.
  • Data entry of new prospects and applications.
  • Process admission materials.
  • Answer Admissions general phone line and emails.
  • Assist with events for 2-4 hours.
  • Provide campus tours for prospective students for 1-2 hours.
  • Serve as a student panelist at admissions events for 2 hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Computer skills such as Word, Excel, and Web browsers.
