About The Position

The Admissions Advisor role is a pivotal position within our enrollment team, designed to drive the strategic objectives of CHCP by guiding prospective students through the admissions process. This role is based on campus in McAllen, TX, and operates within a high-performing, collaborative environment. The Admissions Advisor will be instrumental in aligning prospective students' career aspirations with CHCP's educational offerings, ensuring a seamless and informed enrollment experience. Requirements

  • 0-1 year of experience in admissions recruitment or relevant sales experience.
  • A genuine interest in helping others achieve their personal and professional goals.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with industry-specific hardware, software, and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage outbound and inbound calls to connect with prospective students, highlighting CHCP's educational offerings and their potential impact.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews, campus tours, and entrance assessments, and introduce prospective students to financial aid resources.
  • Evaluate candidates for admission based on career goal compatibility and program alignment.
  • Provide comprehensive explanations of healthcare educational programs, expected outcomes, and available student services to students and their support networks.
  • Utilize proven tools and resources, including phone scripts, interview guides, and marketing materials, while adhering to national and state regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance knowledge of enrollment processes, program offerings, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain expertise in monthly start cycles, enrollment goals, program knowledge, and entrance requirements to ensure the enrollment of qualified students.
  • Engage in recruitment and enrollment activities such as open houses, presentations, training sessions, and orientation programs.
  • Generate referrals and personally developed leads by asking new students about others who may benefit from career education.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Admissions or campus management to accurately forecast new student enrollments and support educational outcomes.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with new students to ensure their success and satisfaction with the admissions process.
  • Complete the registration process to become a certified Admission Representative through the Texas Workforce Commission.
  • Demonstrate a team-oriented approach and contribute to CHCP's recognition as a Top Workplace for eight consecutive years.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the enrollment team's objectives.
