Admission Team Lead

As a Team Leader at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing a team of admission counselors. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the team effectively contacts, engages, and enrolls students in various undergraduate and graduate programs, both online and at campus and satellite locations. You will be expected to uphold SNHU's Core Values by delivering exceptional service and maintaining a positive team culture. This remote position allows you to work from various approved states, provided you have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace free from distractions. In this role, you will establish performance goals and standards, driving your team to meet or exceed enrollment targets and conversion goals. You will evaluate employee performance against these established goals, providing coaching and corrective action as necessary. Identifying performance gaps on both an individual and team level will be crucial, and you will develop and implement coaching and training plans to ensure that performance expectations are met. Additionally, you will manage team schedules to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours and monitor statistical data on team performance, providing analysis to management. As a resource for admission counselors, you will assist with technical questions related to SNHU degree programs and admission processes, ensuring that counselors have the most current information. You will also conduct regular team meetings to communicate changes and new information, assist counselors with applicant inquiries and complaints, and document one-on-one meetings to discuss performance and evaluate communications. Your role may also involve assisting with commencement ceremonies and reception events as needed.
