About The Position

The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and evaluating the process for patient admissions, including bed assignment. The Admissions coordinator will continually assess the admission process and make necessary recommendations for process improvement.

Requirements

• Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups
• Required Education: Associate's Degree
• Necessary Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, self-directed and autonomous with role, present self as a professional nurse with excellent critical thinking skills, ability to identify actual or potential problems and develop a plan of action in collaboration with other healthcare team members, problem-solving skills
• Required Licensure/Certifications: Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Florida, BLS Required
• Experience: 3-5 years of Clinical experience

Nice To Haves

• Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Health-related field
• Preferred Experience: At least 2-3 years of Clinical experience, 1-2 years of management, education, or supervisory experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate the patient admission process, including bed assignment
• Collaborate with the Nursing administrative supervisor to make recommendations for process improvement
• Supervise and assist the staffing associates in maintaining staffing levels to ensure budgetary compliance and high-quality care
